Does Forex trading operate 24 hours a day?
In principle, foreign exchange transactions can be conducted 24 hours a day on weekdays. The foreign exchange market first starts with the Oceania market, then moves to Tokyo, London and other markets, and finally the New York market closes to end the day's trading.
Follow this process and repeat from Monday morning through Saturday morning. Because there are markets around the world, foreign exchange can be traded 24 hours a day.
Even if one of the markets is closed, trading is still possible if other overseas markets are open.
